A4tech Rn-10d | Driver
- The model number is incorrect – A4tech (A4Tech) commonly uses model numbers like R8, R7, X7, OP-720, WMS-10, etc. "Rn-10d" might be a misreading or a partial code from a label on the device.
- It's a very old or rare model – Older A4tech mice sometimes have model numbers like RN-10D, but this is not a standard listed model in their current driver database.
- It could be a generic mouse – Many unbranded or OEM mice use A4tech chips internally but don't have dedicated drivers.
Step 3: Run the Installer as Administrator
- Right-click the
.exe file → Run as administrator.
- Accept the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
2. Do you need a Driver?
- Windows 10 / Windows 11: You do not need to download a driver. Simply plug the USB cable into the port, and Windows will automatically install the generic HID driver.
- Windows 7 / XP: You may need a driver if the mouse isn't recognized automatically.
4. Alternative: Use Windows built-in driver update
If Windows shows “Unknown device” (rare), force update the driver:
- Open Device Manager → Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right-click your mouse → Update driver → Search automatically for drivers.
- Windows will install the standard HID-compliant mouse driver.
