You cannot use the coding list without an interface tool.
- OBDeleven (Android): The most user-friendly option. The coding lists often correspond directly to OBDeleven's "Long Coding" interface. Pro Tip: You usually need the "Pro" adapter to change adaptation channels.
- VCDS (Ross-Tech): The industry standard. If you are reading a raw text coding list from a forum, this is likely what they are using. It is more stable but has a steeper learning curve and a higher upfront cost ($200–$500).
- Carly: Generally not recommended for serious B9 coding. Their "coding lists" are often pre-packaged and vague ("Enable Feature X" with no explanation of what parameter is changing), which can lead to errors on the B9 platform.
