- CDAC’s “BhashaSanket” sometimes offers free Unicode typing tools. Check their official website (
cdac.in). However, full “Bhasha Bharti” suite may be paid.
Issue 4: Typing is laggy on 64-bit apps (like MS Word 2019).
Solution: Close the "Bhasha Bharti Dashboard" running in the system tray. Use only the Windows native language bar to control Bhasha Bharti inputs.
Step 4: License Agreement
The software is typically Freeware for Indian citizens. You do not need a license key. Click "Accept" and download. The file size is approximately 150 MB to 300 MB.
Note: If the official Bhasha Bharti installer fails, C-DAC also offers a lighter alternative called "GIST-Radhika" or "LEAP Office 10" which includes 64-bit language tools.
Step 2: Locate the Correct Product Name
Search for "Bhasha Bharti 3.0 for Windows (64-bit)" or "Indic IME 64-bit." As of the last major update, C-DAC provides a unified installer.
