1. Download the installer

   • Log in to your ClickTeam account → My Products → Creator Pro → Download.
   • Save the file (e.g., CreatorPro_2026_Installer.exe) to a temporary folder.

2. Run the installer

   • Right‑click → Run as administrator.
   • Follow the wizard (accept EULA, choose install folder, etc.). The default folder is usually C:\Program Files\ClickTeam\Creator Pro.

3. Activate the product

   • After the first launch, you’ll be prompted for a registration code (the 20‑character alphanumeric key you purchased).
   • Enter the code, click Activate, and let the software verify the license online.

4. Confirm a successful activation

   • In Creator Pro, go to Help → About. You should see License: Registered and the name/email associated with the key.

5. Take a snapshot (optional but useful)

   • Export the list of installed files: wmic product where "name like 'ClickTeam Creator%'" get Name,Version,InstallLocation.
   • Export registry keys: reg export "HKLM\Software\ClickTeam" C:\Temp\CreatorPro_Registry.reg.

Once you’ve confirmed the installation works, you have a clean baseline to re‑package.
