2021 | Delicia Deity

Delicia Deity 2021

1. Appearance

  • Leaves: Thick, fleshy, and triangular with a powdery farina (natural wax coating). The base color is sage green, but in high light, it develops neon pink margins and a central cream variegation.
  • Size: A mature rosette reaches 6–8 inches in diameter. Unlike similar hybrids, Delicia Deity stays compact.
  • Flowers: In late summer, it sends up a 12-inch stalk with bell-shaped, coral-colored blooms that smell exactly like honeysuckle and clove.

3. Growing Requirements

Delicia Deity 2021 is not for beginners. It demands:

  • Light: 14 hours of bright, indirect LED grow light daily. Direct sun scorches the variegation.
  • Water: Bottom-watering only, every 10–14 days. Any water on the leaves causes permanent spotting.
  • Soil: 80% inorganic grit (pumice, perlite, akadama) and 20% coconut coir.
  • Temperature: 65–75°F year-round. It does not tolerate drafts or sudden temperature shifts.
