    आशु और स्मृति पंडित के पास जाते हैं, जो कहता है कि वह इस शक्ति को “प्री” (प्रेत) की तरह बंद कर सकता है—अर्थात् उसे किसी को शिकार बनाकर उसकी आत्मा को शाश्वत बंधन में डालना। पंडित का मानना है कि “प्री” को “शिकार” की जरूरत है, इसलिए वह एक योजना बनाता है: एक युवा को चुनें, उसे पिशाच के सामने ले जाएँ और फिर उसे बलिदान कर दें, जिससे पिशाच फिर कभी नहीं उठ सके।

  4. भयावह रात
    पंडित, आशु और स्मृति रात के अंधेरे में हवेली की गुफा में प्रवेश करते हैं। जब वे रक्तपिशाच को बुलाते हैं, तो उसकी आँखों में ज्वाला जल उठती है और वह एक गहरी गर्जना के साथ बाहर निकलता है। पंडित ने तय किया था कि वह खुद ही शिकार बनेगा, लेकिन अचानक पिशाच उसकी आत्मा को निगल लेता है।

  5. आशु का बलिदान
    पंडित की असफलता के बाद, आशु को समझ आता है कि केवल एक ही उपाय बचेगा – वह खुद को पिशाच की नजरों में ले आएगा और उसकी ऊर्जा को अपने भीतर बंद कर लेगा। एक प्राचीन मंत्र के साथ, वह पिशाच को अपने दिल में बाँध लेता है और हवेली की दीवारों में फँस जाता है। पिशाच की शक्ति नष्ट हो जाती है और हवेली फिर कभी नहीं चमकी।

  6. अंतिम दृश्य
    सुबह होते ही गाँव वाले आशु के शरीर को हवेली की गुफा के पास पाते हैं, लेकिन उसकी आँखों में अब अजीब चमक है – जैसे कि वह अब भी किसी और के भीतर मौजूद है। स्मृति, जो अब गांव की नई डॉक्टर बन चुकी है, आशु के लिफ़ाफ़े में एक नोट पाती है: “अगर कभी तुम्हें फिर से मदद चाहिए, तो बस इस हवेली में आवाज़ सुनो। मैं तुम्हारी रक्षा के लिये यहाँ हूँ।”
