Method A: Windows / macOS GUI Tool
- Launch the DSOTC2 Updater Utility (Admin mode required on Windows).
- Connect the device via USB-C.
- Select the target COM port (usually
COM3 or /dev/cu.usbmodem).
- Click "Browse" and select the
.dsf firmware file.
- Click "Verify & Flash".
- Wait for the progress bar to reach 100%. Do not close the app.

Error 2: Camera Freezes on the Logo Screen After Update (Boot Loop)
Cause: Corrupted firmware download or power interruption.

- Perform a "hard reset": Remove the battery (if removable) and unplug any cables. Wait 60 seconds, then reinsert.
