Getting Started

  1. Download and Install: Download the software from the official EASEUS website or a trusted source. Run the installer and follow the prompts to install the software on your Windows system.
  2. Launch the Software: After installation, launch EASEUS Partition Master. You'll see a user-friendly interface with a list of available disks and partitions.

Main Interface

The main interface consists of:

  1. Disk Map: A graphical representation of your disks and partitions.
  2. Partition List: A list of all partitions on the selected disk.
  3. Toolbar: A set of buttons for common actions (e.g., create, resize, delete).

Common Operations

1. The "One-Click" Adjust

The software’s signature feature is dragging partition borders with your mouse. Want to steal 50GB from your D: drive and give it to your C: drive? Just drag the slider and click Apply. No command lines required. EASEUS Partition Master 17.6.0.20221130 -x32 x6...

B. Disk Conversion & Initialization

Part 10: Safety & Best Practices for This Version

If you are deploying EASEUS Partition Master 17.6.0.20221130 -x32 x64 in a production environment: Getting Started

  1. Always create a system backup – Use the built-in "Backup & Restore" tab before structural changes.
  2. Defragment HDDs before shrinking – This moves unmovable files, allowing a smaller target size.
  3. Check power stability – A power loss during partition commit can corrupt the partition table. Run on laptops with 50%+ battery.
  4. Disable antivirus temporarily – Some real-time scanners interfere with low-level disk operations.
  5. Verify after cloning – Use the "Check Partition" feature to compare original vs. clone.

Workflow 3: Converting MBR to GPT (For UEFI + Secure Boot)

  1. Backup critical data (always).
  2. Right-click the target disk (must have no partitions locked by pagefile).
  3. Select Convert to GPT.
  4. Apply changes. The system may require a reboot.

Note: v17.6.0 does NOT support dynamic disk to basic conversion without data loss. For that, use v18.0 or newer.
