Enter Meera (Zara Malik), a free-spirited street performer who sings classical semi-classical fusion at the Dadar railway station. Her voice is raw, untrained, and electric. Unable to speak, Ayaan communicates through recorded ambient sounds—the tap of rain, the screech of train brakes, the flutter of a pigeon’s wing. Meera, fascinated, responds through fragments of old ghazals. Over one night, they create an impromptu symphony: Ek Chahat.

But dawn brings reality. Meera has a ticket to a different city. Ayaan has a therapy session he keeps canceling. They do not kiss. They do not exchange phone numbers. Instead, they exchange a single pair of earphones, split between two ears, listening to the same unfinished track.
