Inside eMule, go to Options > Server and paste the following URLs into the "Update Server.met from URL" field. These are maintained by the community: Emule Server List
https://www.emule-security.org/serverlist/server.met(Highly recommended – security focused)https://upd.emule-security.net/server.met(Mirror)http://peerates.net/servers.php(Peerates list, updated weekly)http://www.gruk.org/server.met(Gruks list – stable but less frequently updated)
How to use: Check the box "Auto update server list on connection" and click "Apply." eMule will fetch a fresh list every time it starts.
Problem 4: Only 2-3 Servers Respond
Cause: You are using a list from 2015. Solution: Delete the entire list (Ctrl+A, Delete). Paste one of the 2024 URLs from Part 3 into the "Update Server.met from URL" field and hit "Update."

What it was
An eMule server list was a simple text or web-hosted roster of IP addresses and ports for eMule-compatible servers. Load it into your client and you opened a gateway to thousands of distributed users. Unlike decentralized Kademlia networks that later gained prominence, these server lists gave structure — a human-assembled index that helped peers find each other quickly.
