The game allows players to create and manage their own airline, including designing and operating flights, managing staff, and balancing finances. Tested Aircraft & Performance Report

We tested this repack across multiple aircraft to verify stability.

The "OOM" Test: We flew the PMDG 777 from KJFK to EGLL (7 hours). Default FSX + FSPassengers consumed 3.2GB of VAS (Virtual Address Space). The limit is 3.5GB. The repack stayed under the limit.

Step 5: Launching

Step 4: The "Tested" Fix (Mandatory)

After installation, DO NOT launch FSX yet. Step 5: Launching Launch FSX via the FSX

1. Navigate to FSX Root\FsPassengers\Bin\.
2. Right-click FsPassengersx.dll -> Properties -> Digital Signatures. If it says "Signature invalid," you must run FsPassengers_Loader.exe (inside the Bin folder) as Administrator once.
3. Registry Fix: Download the FsPassengers_regfix.reg (included in the repack's "Redist" folder). Double-click it to merge it into your registry.

Part 1: What Exactly is FSPassengers X?

For the uninitiated, FSPassengers X is an add-on that sits on top of Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX) or Prepar3D v1-3. It adds a layer of "Life" to your flights.

• The Economy: You start an airline, buy planes, take out loans, and manage pilots.
• The Passengers: You are rated on takeoff G-force, landing smoothness, flight time, and turbulence. Spill a drink? Lose points.
• The Failures: Random, dynamic failures. Engines catch fire, tires blow on landing, flaps jam.
• The Atmosphere: You hear flight attendants, babies crying, clapping on landing, and music during boarding.

It is immersion gold, and frankly, nothing has replaced its "simplicity + depth" ratio in the modern era.

Part 4: How to Avoid the "Unhandled Exception" Errors

The number one complaint about this repack is the "Unhandled Exception" error when trying to start a flight. Here is the fix that worked for me:

1. Locate the Config: Go to %APPDATA%\Roaming\FSPassengers
2. Edit more_option.cfg: Open with Notepad.
3. Disable Sound Acceleration: Change SoundUseAcceleration=1 to 0.
4. Force Windowed Mode: Run FSX in Windowed mode (not Full Screen) until the flight is loaded.

Once the flight is loaded and the passengers are boarding, you can switch back to full screen. Go to Add-ons Menu -> FsPassengers

Is It Worth It in 2024/2025?

Absolutely. While Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 exists, it still does not have a true FSPassengers equivalent. NeoFly and Self-Loading Cargo are close, but they lack the ruthless punishment and hilarious immersion of FSPassengers X.

2. Install: Run the setup.exe. Crucial Step: Uncheck "Install Redistributables" if you know you have them already. Install to the default path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ (or your Steam directory).
