Based on the chipset limitations detailed in the manual’s hardware spec section: g41t-ad v1.0 motherboard manual
- Windows XP (32-bit): Flawless. All drivers available. The manual recommends this for maximum stability.
- Windows 7 (32/64-bit): Good. You must slipstream AHCI drivers or use IDE mode.
- Windows 10: Not recommended. The G41 chipset lacks WDDM 2.0 drivers for the IGP, and Realtek RTL8103E LAN drivers are unstable on 20H2+. If you must, use a discrete GPU and a USB Ethernet dongle.
- Linux (Ubuntu/Debian): Excellent. The open-source
inteldriver supports the GMA X4500 graphics natively. Linux reads the manual’s ACPI tables perfectly.
