Part 5: Boss Puzzle – Temporal Guardian
This is not a combat sequence but a puzzle boss.
- Phase 1: The Guardian slams its fists. Examine the left fist – it has three runes. Match the runes to the symbols on the Chrono-Core (circle, triangle, diamond). Use the Chrono-Lens to freeze the fist, then click the runes in order: Circle → Triangle → Diamond.
- Phase 2: The Guardian opens its chest cavity, revealing a Time Heart. Four rotating rings surround it. Stop each ring when the glowing line matches the symbol on Eliza’s locket (a phoenix).
- Ring 1 (outer): Stop at the tail feather.
- Ring 2: Stop at the wing.
- Ring 3: Stop at the eye.
- Ring 4 (inner): Stop at the beak.
- Phase 3: The Guardian collapses. The Chronomancer tries to escape through a time rift. Use the Chrono-Lens on the rift to reverse it, pulling him back. Then throw your dagger at the amulet on his chest.

Section 2: Exploring Eldrador
- Spirit Orbs: Navigate through Eldrador, collecting spirit orbs. These orbs are scattered across the realm and are crucial for unlocking paths and interacting with ancient spirits.
Phase 3: The Sanatorium Grounds
- Perimeter Breach: The Sanatorium gate was sealed by a magical seal requiring gemstone alignment.
- Mini-Game: Rotated rings to align symbols of the moon phases.
- Result: Gate opened.
- Key Item Retrieval:
- Searched the fountain for the Ornate Key.
- Solved the "Stone Gargoyle" riddle by inserting the Ruby Eye (found in the Hunter’s Bag earlier).

Part 2: The Forgotten Prison
Objective: Navigate the time-distorted catacombs. Grim Legends 3: The Dark City — Bonus
- Scene: Lower Catacombs – four pedestals with empty hourglasses, a central frozen clock, and a sealed door with five sigils.
- Observation: Time stutters here. Some objects flicker between past and present.
- Action: Examine the frozen clock (center). The hands are missing. Use your dagger (from inventory) to pry open the glass. Inside, you find a Minute Hand and a broken Hour Hand.
- Puzzle: Repair the Hour Hand.
- Examine the broken Hour Hand on your inventory. You need a metal rod and a heat source.
- Go to the left pedestal. The hourglass here is inverted. Activate it – a ghost appears. Follow the ghost’s path; it stops at a wall torch. Use your empty bottle (found on floor near pedestal) on the torch flame to get Hot Ash.
- Combine Hot Ash + Broken Hour Hand + Metal File (found in a crack in the wall) → Repaired Hour Hand.
- Action: Place both clock hands onto the frozen clock. Set the time to 11:55 (the ghost’s last memory). The central platform rotates, revealing a staircase down.
Chapter 2: Return to the Dark City
Travel back to the mechanical district via the mirror gate. Phase 1: The Guardian slams its fists
- Main Square (Flooded) – The area is now partially submerged. Go left to the Gear Workshop.
- Puzzle: Pressure Plates – Step on the plates in this order: Middle → Left → Right → Middle to raise the water grate.
- Collect the Rusted Crank from the exposed pipe.
- Use the Crank on the wall panel near the elevator. Turn it 3 times clockwise to call the lift.
- Hidden Object Scene: Elevator Floor – Find 12 gears hidden among junk. Reward: Blueprint Fragment B.
