Quick setup (Windows)
- Confirm your radio model is supported by CS-F3000 (consult Icom documentation).
- Download the correct CS-F3000 installer from Icom or your vendor.
- Install drivers for the programming cable (USB-to-serial or USB-C depending on cable).
- Install CS-F3000 and restart if prompted.
- Connect the radio via the programming cable and turn it to the appropriate programming mode (see radio manual).
- In CS-F3000: select the correct COM port, click “Read” to pull the radio’s current configuration, then edit or create profiles.
- Use “Write” to send changes back to the radio. Save backups before writing.
Part 5: The Write

Part 2: Hardware Requirements & The Invisible Component (Cables)
