Open source RGB lighting control that doesn't depend on manufacturer software

One of the biggest complaints about RGB is the software ecosystem surrounding it. Every manufacturer has their own app, their own brand, their own style. If you want to mix and match devices, you end up with a ton of conflicting, functionally identical apps competing for your background resources. On top of that, these apps are proprietary and Windows-only. Some even require online accounts. What if there was a way to control all of your RGB devices from a single app, on both Windows and Linux, without any nonsense? That is what OpenRGB sets out to achieve. One app to rule them all.

OpenRGB user interface

Control RGB without wasting system resources

Lightweight User Interface

OpenRGB keeps it simple with a lightweight user interface that doesn't waste background resources with excessive custom images and styles. It is light on both RAM and CPU usage, so your system can continue to shine without cutting into your gaming or productivity performance.

OpenRGB rules them all

Control RGB from a single app

Eliminate Bloatware

If you have RGB devices from many different manufacturers, you will likely have many different programs installed to control all of your devices. These programs do not sync with each other, and they all compete for your system resources. OpenRGB aims to replace every single piece of proprietary RGB software with one lightweight app.

OpenRGB is open source software

Contribute your RGB devices

Open Source

OpenRGB is free and open source software under the GNU General Public License version 2. This means anyone is free to view and modify the code. If you know C++, you can add your own device with our flexible RGB hardware abstraction layer. Being open source means more devices are constantly being added!

Work | Insect Prison Walkthrough

Insect Prison REMAKE point-and-click adventure game by developer Eroism where players control Leah, an adventurer searching for a missing survey team on a mysterious island inhabited by giant, hostile creatures. Progression in the game centers on exploring diverse regions, managing specialized stats like "Lewdness" and "Lust," and triggering specific "scenes" by interacting with or being defeated by various insectoid enemies. Core Gameplay Mechanics

Navigating the island requires a balance of exploration and combat management: Stats Management : The player must track and a hidden

meter. High Lust makes it harder to resist enemy "Grab" attacks, while different Lewdness levels (e.g.,

) determine which specific scenes or interactions are available. Combat Strategies

: To unlock specific scenes without dying, players often use the "Shield" action to survive while waiting for an enemy to use a Grab attack. Incubation System

: Some encounters lead to infection (e.g., Parasite Worms). Players must manage "Progress" and "Fullness" stats; once incubation reaches 100%, a "Birth" scene triggers, concluding that cycle. Region & Quest Progression Unlocking the map is a primary goal for any walkthrough: Deep Forest & Waterfall

: These are early-to-midgame areas essential for finding materials like wood and herbs.

: Accessible after exploring the Deep Forest at least 10 times following the discovery of the Banana Tree and Waterfall. Current Progression Cap

: As of version 1.25, the game’s story and region progression currently end at the Field. Essential Resource Locations Primary Use Disinfectant Herb Deep Forest General utility/healing Libido Flower Increases lust; interactable when Lewdness ≥ 3 Dandelion Flower Heightens the effect of drinking tea in the cabin Blazing Wood Flower Garden Collecting more than 4 per day triggers the Leech Salt Shop/Crafting Prevents certain "Sucking Leech" encounters in the Swamp How to Unlock Key Scenes Scenes are the primary "collectibles" in Insect Prison REMAKE Grab Attacks

: To trigger "Normal" or "Lewd" scenes with enemies like Wharf Roaches or Giant Slugs, fail to resist their Grab attack while at the required Lewdness level. Exploration Surprises : Drinking all possible water at the

in one day or showering there with Lewdness ≥ 3 will trigger Cicada scenes. Rumia’s Shop

: Meeting Rumia in the Forest unlocks her shop. Spy through the peephole at the back of the shop at different times of day to unlock further interactions. How would you like to proceed? I can provide more specific scene requirements or details on the latest game updates Guides and Help - Insect Prison REMAKE community - itch.io

The game begins with Leah arriving on the island. Unlike traditional linear games, Insect Prison Remake emphasizes a non-linear structure where player decisions gradually shape the narrative tone.

Key Objective: Search for the missing environmental group while surviving the island's unique "residents".

Navigation: Players move between regions such as the Deep Forest, Waterfall, and the Flower Garden. Unlocking new areas often requires repeated exploration; for instance, the Field is unlocked after exploring the Deep Forest at least 10 times. 2. Core Mechanics: Survival and Incubation

The game’s primary "prison" theme manifests through its incubation system, which serves as a central gameplay loop.

Incubation Cycle: If Leah is defeated or surrenders to certain insects (like Parasite Worms, Giant Slugs, or Egg Bees), she becomes infected.

Managing Infection: Progress increases as Leah explores the island or sleeps. Once progress hits 100%, a "birth" event concludes the cycle and resets the status.

Attributes: Stats like Lewdness and Lust determine how Leah interacts with the environment. For example, some flora like the Libido Flower can only be interacted with once Leah’s Lewdness reaches a level of 3 or higher. 3. Combat System

The combat has evolved through various updates to include a counter-based mechanic:

Action Distribution: In newer versions, players pick an action for each enemy every turn, rather than just one total action. Counters: Melee Attacks counter Grab/Push. Grab/Push counters Guard. Guard counters Melee Attacks. insect prison walkthrough

Status Effects: Items like Suppressants can prevent enemies from using "Grab" attacks during a battle. 4. Strategic Walkthrough Tips

To successfully navigate the island, players should focus on resource gathering and stat management:

Resource Collection: Items like Disinfectant Herbs, Vines, and Wood are essential for crafting and progression.

Unlocking Scenes: The game features a "Recall Screen" where players can view unlocked scenes. Unlocking them often depends on Leah’s current Lewdness level and whether she was defeated or used the "Seduce" action.

Quick Travel: Once a region is unlocked, players can use the map on the top right for quick travel, significantly reducing downtime. 5. Critical Themes

Insect Prison uses its namesake metaphorically—Leah is "imprisoned" on an island where the flora and fauna attempt to use her body for their own reproduction. The game focuses on participation over optimization, encouraging players to see how different choices lead to varied narrative and emotional directions rather than simply trying to "win" in a traditional sense. 1. Concept

The "Insect Prison" is a physical barrier designed to trap pests without using pesticides. It utilizes the behavior of crawling insects that seek shelter or moisture.

3. Advantages

2. Walkthrough Strategy

Step 1: Preparation (Crucial) Before diving for this mission, ensure you have the following:

Step 2: Navigation The Glacial Area is labyrinthine. Follow these directional markers to reach the prison:

  1. Enter the Glacial Area and head Down and Right.
  2. Ignore the upper paths; they are dead ends.
  3. Look for a vertical shaft that leads further down.
  4. You will encounter a blocked path; use a weapon to destroy the ice blocks.
  5. Continue descending until you reach a large, open cavern with distinct architecture.

Step 3: The Puzzle & Boss

Step 4: The Escape (The "Prison" Aspect) This is where most players fail. After rescuing Kato, the cave begins to collapse or flood.

Most likely: Insect Prison (a short puzzle game on platforms like Newgrounds or itch.io)

In this game, you’re trapped in a jar or terrarium and must escape by solving insect-themed puzzles.

Typical walkthrough steps:

  1. Start area – Examine the leaf and dirt pile. Pick up the twig and small pebble.
  2. Ant tunnel – Use the twig to poke an ant hole. An ant will drop a seed.
  3. Spider web – Trade the seed to a beetle near the web for a drop of nectar.
  4. Locked grate – Use nectar to attract a fly; it will press a hidden button, opening the grate.
  5. Escape – Crawl through the vent. Avoid a praying mantis by using the pebble as a distraction.
