The LA-7912P is a motherboard platform designed for AMD-based laptops. It is most commonly found in entry-level to mid-range notebooks, such as the Lenovo G50-45, Lenovo B50-45, and similar chassis variations.
This board utilizes an AMD SoC (System on Chip) architecture, meaning the CPU is soldered directly to the board (BGA style) and is not removable like standard Intel laptop CPUs.
The boardview alone is useless without the PDF schematic. Always download LA-7912P r1.0 schematic.pdf simultaneously.

+1.05V. Find it is generated by IC U23 (RT8206).U23 is EN_1.05V, which comes from Pin 4 of resistor R296.R296.R296. Probe it in real life. If it is missing, the boardview tells you its value (e.g., 100k 0402).Symptom: You hear a spark or the power supply clicks off. High resistance to ground. Diagnosis using Boardview:
B+ or VIN.PQ101). Use the boardview to lift the coil (PL101) to isolate the short.Click on a pad for +3VPCU. The software will highlight every pin, via, and component connected to that net. This is how you find a short—look for the 10 capacitors all turning the same color.
Elias hovered his cursor over a tiny component labeled C450. la-7912p rev 1.0 boardview
"Component: C450," he read from the sidebar. "Net: 3V_ALW. Value: 10uF. Location: Under the I/O Shield."
He cursed. In the earlier revisions, that capacitor was on the top side. In Rev 1.0, Lenovo had moved it to the underside, tucked beneath a steel heat shield that protected the Embedded Controller (EC).
If he had continued following the old schematic, he would have replaced every capacitor on the top side and never found the fault. The BoardView hadn't just shown him a picture; it had corrected the timeline of the board's evolution. Overview: LA-7912P Rev 1
He grabbed his heat gun. The smell of burning flux filled the small room as he pried off the metal shield. There it was. A tiny, innocent-looking capacitor, sitting squarely in the middle of the board.
