Chapter 5: The Chamber of Whispers
Emilia is chained to an altar. She’s alive but cursed – black veins crawl up her arm. A jade serpent ring (the same as yours but larger) floats above the altar.
Objective: Remove the curse without killing Emilia.
Puzzle 5 – Blood Covenant Use the Obsidian Knife on your own palm (in inventory, combine knife with John). Then use Bloody Hand on the altar’s left serpent carving. The floating ring lowers slightly, but Emilia screams. You need a counter-curse.
Find nearby:
- A Chalice of Moonwater (on a shelf behind a spiderweb – burn web with the temple brazier’s flame? No, you can’t go back. Instead, use your Torch – craft torch with Stick + Rag from bag + ignite using the central brazier before leaving Chapter 3. Hopefully you did that. If not, go back.)
- Herb bundle (hanging from ceiling – cut with machete).

Chapter 2: The Sunken Grotto
This area is a flooded cavern with four stone pillars. In the center is a sealed sarcophagus with a frog-shaped indentation.

- A broken waterwheel mechanism on the far right.
