Note: For the physical “Magic Earth” model train controller or other product, please specify. This report assumes the popular GPS navigation app for iOS/Android.
7.4 Recording Tracks
- Start recording from the Track Recorder feature.
- Options: pause/resume, add waypoint, save track with name and description.
- Recorded tracks can be exported as GPX/KML.
Troubleshooting
- Download fails or stalls: ensure enough free storage, restart app, retry on stable Wi‑Fi.
- Search returns no results offline: confirm the area containing the POI is included in the downloaded package.
- Voice guidance missing: check offline voice pack is downloaded and selected in Voice options.
13. Privacy and Permissions
- Grant location permission to use navigation features.
- Control whether app uses background location; disable to restrict tracking when the app is not in use.
- Manage access to storage for importing/exporting files and to microphone if voice input is used.
