Maplestory V111 Training Guide Top ((top)) File
This guide is specifically designed for MapleStory v111 (commonly referred to as the "Legendary" or "Chaos" patch era, popular on private servers like Extalia, Aurora, or Swordie). This version is pre-Big Bang mechanics (post-Big Bang UI but with Pre-Big Bang difficulty) and covers levels 1–200.
Part 4: Gear Progression for Smooth Training
You cannot grind to 200 with broken gear. Follow this:
- Level 10-70: Any weapon with 100% scrolls for ATT/MATT.
- Level 70-120: The "Musketeer" set (Crimsonheart/Redemption) – farm from El Nath Mobs.
- Level 120-160: Empress Set ( Lionheart Castle - Von Leon gear). 140 is the breakpoint. Grind Lionheart Castle Hall of Honor for drops while training.
- Level 160-200: Reverse/Timeless weapon (minimum 150 ATT). Do the Rose Garden questline for a free Timeless weapon recipe.

Phase 8: The Final Sprint (Level 165 – 200)
Estimated time: 40+ hours (or 10 hours with 15x events)
Congratulations. You are in the top 10% of the server. Now, training becomes a meditative hell. This guide is specifically designed for MapleStory v111
Level 90-100: Magatia's Lab - C-2 (Neo Huroids)
- Spawn: 40+ mobs.
- Layout: A single flat platform.
- Strategy: If you are a Melee (Hero/Dark Knight), stand in the middle and use a knockback skill. If you are a Mage (Ice/Lightning), freeze them.
Level 90–110: The Forgotten Path (5 Hours)
Two contenders. Leafre vs. Minar Forest.
- Top Map (Solo): Dark Wyrm's Nest (Minar Forest: East of Leafre).
- Mobs: Dark Wyrms (Level 95, 7,500 HP).
- Strategy: They do not move. Stand in the middle of the cave. Mage = Chain Lightning / Cleric = Shining Ray. Warrior = Rush + Slash Blast. 450k EXP/min.
- Top Map (Party): Nest of Danger (Leafre: Where Destroyed Dragon Nest used to be). Blue Wyverns and Red Wyverns. Spawn 15 mobs instantly.
- Party comp: 1 Bishop (HS), 1 Dark Knight (Hyper Body), 3 Damage dealers (Dual Blade/Bowmaster).

5. Level 100–140: The “LHC Era”
This is where v111 shines. Lion Heart Castle (LHC) is the ultimate party training zone.
8. Class-Specific Training Tips (v111 Meta)

#2 – Dual Ghosts (Malaysia – Ghost Ship 2)
- Mobs: Level 180 Dual Ghosts. HP: 200k.
- Why it's top tier: They spawn in a 2x2 square. Use a Magnet skill (Bowmaster's Puppet, Mech's Missile) to pull them together. 7.8m EXP/hour.
- Risk: They do 4,000 damage touch. You need >6k HP (Dark Knight HB required).
Phase 4: The v111 "Top" Elite Grind (120 – 200)
You have your 4th job skills. Now you seek the top 1% maps. These are the secret sauces of v111.
- 120–140: Lion Heart Castle: Hall of Honor. This is non-negotiable. The Knight mobs have 80k HP but drop Rising Sun belts/pendants and give 5k EXP each. Stay here until your gear is set.
- 140–160: Future Henesys: Foothill of Ruins (Trainee Skeletons). Note: In v111, Future Henesys is often the "Chaos" variant. These mobs spawn in packs of 15 and are passive until hit.
- 160–180: Stronghold: Armory 1 or 2 (Dimensional Sword/Spear). You need the "Commander" questline finished. This is the endgame meta. Mobs spawn instantly upon death if you clear the room fast enough.
- 180–200: Hall of Honor (wait, again?). No. Twilight Perion: Forsaken Excavation Site 1 (Ancient Golems). In v111, these are Level 190+ and have a flat, two-platform layout perfect for Bishops, Mechanics, or Demon Slayers.
