2. The "DA" and "Auth" File Problem
This is where most people get stuck with the MT6761. GUI indicator (if implemented):
Unlike older chips (like MT6580), the MT6761 often requires a Download Agent (DA) file and sometimes an Authentication (Auth) file. Brands like Tecno and Infinix have implemented strict security on this chipset.
- The Solution: If you are using a generic flash tool, it will stop at "Downloading DA..." and fail. You must find the specific DA file for your device model, or use a modified flash tool that has a database of generic MT6761 DA files.
