What Exactly Is the Jas Marriage Mod?

First, let’s clear up a major misconception. You cannot simply flip a switch and marry the vanilla Jas. The base game has hard-coded flags preventing romance with any NPC marked as a "child" (Jas, Vincent, and Leo).

The Jas Marriage Mod is a comprehensive character overhaul that typically does the following:

Aging Up Jas: The mod replaces Jas’s sprite and portrait with an older, teenage or young adult version. She will appear taller, her clothing changes, and her dialogue matures.
Heart Events: It adds 8 to 10 new heart events (cutscenes) that rewrite her story. These often involve her struggling with Marnie’s overprotectiveness, confronting her parents’ absence, or discovering her own identity.
Schedule Changes: An older Jas might take a part-time job at Marnie’s ranch, help at Pierre’s, or study at the library with Penny.
