Troubleshooting
Q: I still see German/French/Russian text after installing.
A: You must change the game's language setting. Go to Options > Language and select English (US). If the option is missing, delete the file language.id from your game folder.
Q: The speech subtitles don’t show up.
A: Enable subtitles in Options > Audio > Show Subtitles. Stronghold Crusader English Language Pack
Q: Is this compatible with the Extreme edition? A: No. This pack is for Stronghold Crusader (Classic/HD). For Crusader Extreme, please download the separate "Extreme English Patch." Guide: Restoring English Audio & Text in Stronghold
6. Testing
- After applying, launch a skirmish or campaign.
- Check: unit names, menu text, building descriptions, and mission briefings.
Troubleshooting
