Combat vs. Stealth

In v0.10, running headfirst into every fight is a quick way to get a Game Over.

  • Stealth: Many areas require you to sneak past enemies. Watch their patrol patterns. If you are spotted, you often enter a "Combat" or "Struggle" phase.
  • Combat: Standard turn-based combat.
    • Tip: Focus on using weapons (guns) for high damage, but conserve ammo. Melee is risky early on.
  • The "Struggle" Mechanic: If caught or defeated, you enter a struggle mini-game. You usually have options to Struggle, Submit, or use an item.
    • Warning: Submitting usually leads to "Bad End" or "Game Over" scenes unless you are playing a specific sub-route.
