1. The "UniSoc" Revolution
One of the standout features of the v7.01 update was its expanded support for Spreadtrum (UniSoc) chipsets.
- The Problem: Throughout 2022 and 2023, budget smartphones (Tecno, Infinix, Itel, and newer entry-level Samsung A-series) heavily utilized UniSoc processors (like the T606, T610, and T612). These were notoriously difficult to service with generic tools.
- The Solution: UAT v7.01 introduced enhanced Read/Write capabilities for these chipsets, allowing technicians to back up firmware, flash stock ROMs, and repair devices that were previously "hard bricked" or stuck in bootloops.
3. Fixing Dead Boot (MTK – No response)
- Tab: "Advanced" → "BROM/Preloader Mode".
- Click "RAM Test". If tool sees
METAorBROM, proceed. - Click "Format Boot + EMMC Userdata" (Do not format NVRAM unless IMEI backup exists).
- Upload a compatible preloader.bin from stock firmware.
- Click "Write Boot". After success, device should vibrate and show battery charge.
