If you suspect you have run a crack or keygen purporting to license Veeam 12:

  1. Disconnect the machine from the network immediately.
  2. Run full antivirus/anti-malware scans (Windows Defender Offline, Malwarebytes, ESET Online Scanner).
  3. Check for unexpected scheduled tasks, new admin users, outbound connections.
  4. Consider a clean OS reinstall – many cracks deploy persistent rootkits.
  5. Change all passwords that were on that machine.
  6. Download the official Veeam 12 and install clean with a free license.
