Windows 11 Pro 23h2 Build 22631.3737 -non-tpm- ... !!hot!! — Popular & Legit

Write-Up: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.3737 – Non-TPM

Official Alternative

Instead of a hacked “Non-TPM” build, legitimate options include:

  • Continue using Windows 10 (supported until October 2025).
  • Use the official Windows 11 Installation Assistant on unsupported hardware – it may install but warns of lack of updates/damage risk.
  • Apply the official registry bypass (AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU) – still requires TPM 1.2 and is Microsoft’s documented, temporary workaround.

🚀 Performance & Stability

The Good: Build 22631.3737 represents the cumulative maturity of the 23H2 feature update. Unlike the early builds of 22H2, this build feels "sticky" and responsive. Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.3737 -Non-TPM- ...

  • File Explorer: The tabbed Explorer finally feels smooth. No more lag when right-clicking, which was a major issue in earlier 22H2 builds.
  • Memory Management: On this older hardware, standby memory issues seem resolved. The system idles comfortably without slowly eating up RAM.
  • Boot Times: Even without Secure Boot, boot times on an NVMe drive are under 12 seconds.

The "Legacy" Quirks (Non-TPM Specific):

  • Windows Update: This is the big question mark. Currently, cumulative updates (like the one that brought me to .3737) install perfectly fine via Windows Update.
    • Warning: Microsoft has warned that major feature updates might be blocked in the future for unsupported PCs, requiring manual ISO installs for big upgrades. Security updates are currently flowing without issue.
  • Copilot: If you are in a non-supported region or on non-TPM hardware, Copilot can be hit-or-miss. I had to use ViveTool to enable it fully, but it runs fine once active.
